<li>Provide hands-on artistic and technical guidance to support project teams.</li>
<li>Assist production with task estimation, prioritisation and planning across VFX tasks.</li>

<li>Support the recruitment process for VFX roles, including reviewing portfolios, participating in interviews and assisting with candidate assessment when required.</li>
<li>Contribute to onboarding new team members and helping them integrate into Inferno’s workflows and culture.</li>
<li>Collaborate with the Managing Director on resourcing needs and team structure planning.</li>

<div><strong><br>R&amp;D + Future Technologies</strong></div>

<li>Work closely with the R&amp;D team to research, test and develop new tools, workflows and real-time VFX techniques.</li>
<li>Contribute to forward-looking discussions around emerging technology, pipelines and future studio capabilities.</li>
<li>Help translate R&amp;D findings into practical workflows that benefit live projects and team efficiency.</li>

<div><strong><br><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Requirements:</span></strong></div>
<ul>
<li>10+ years of professional experience in the games and/or film industry, with a minimum of 5 years specialising in real-time VFX pipelines - ideally with shipped real-time projects.</li>
<li>Proven experience in a senior or lead VFX role, with responsibility for quality and team support.</li>
<li>Strong leadership, communication and mentoring skills in a collaborative, remote environment.</li>
<li>Exceptional understanding of real-time VFX principles, optimisation and performance constraints.</li>
<li>Advanced knowledge of Unreal Engine and modern real-time workflows.</li>
<li>Proficiency with tools such as Houdini, Blender, EmberGen, UE5, Niagra and related VFX software.</li>
<li>Strong artistic fundamentals, including timing, colour, composition and readability.&nbsp;A problem-solving mindset with the ability to balance creative ambition and technical constraints.<strong><br></strong></li>

Lead VFX Artist

This position is fully remote, however, applicants must be based in the UK (or be willing to relocate to the UK) to be considered.<br><br><br><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></div>

<li>Create and collaborate on high quality, optimized VFX assets across a range of projects with different technical requirements.</li>
<li>With a focus on solutions, problem solve technical and artistic challenges relating to VFX production and integration.</li>
<li>Keep up to date with emerging tools and workflows in real-time VFX and share this knowledge with the team.</li>
<li>Assist with the research and development of new workflows and tools used to increase the efficiency and quality of our VFX services.</li>
<li>Attend internal and external meetings with project stakeholders where required.</li>
<li>Assist in providing task estimates across the team and logging your own time against project tasks.</li>
<li>Train and mentor other members of the team to heighten the skill level of the VFX team.</li>
